I took my daughter in today for 4 cavities to be filled. She was told she had 12 several months ago. Never was I shown the x-rays, not did the hygienist care to provide that information to me or my husband when she had subsequent appointments. The fees have gone up at Toothworks without any notice to clients. Today the receptionist could have learned some customer service skills and kind courtesy in speaking with me. When I told her I couldn't pay the full amount before the hygienist gave her the billing info she says out loud oh we don't do payment plans. Yet months ago with another high billing I paid it off in payments. Then when I questioned the amount of my bill she blames my health provider. You have lost my family business because your staff was rude to me, all you care about is the money. Your fees are too high and I question now did my daughter have 12 cavities or was this a money grab because it's standard practice with your business and the receptionist in her responses to me? I'm sorry now I've wasted years in a place that doesn't care about affordability but just pay what you owe us. So disgusted and disappointing. Your staff should be polite, answer any questions asked with full explanation and know better to treat customers with respect.

After being referred by someone I know, Tooth Works Dentistry completely changed my view of the dentist's office for a number of reasons;
Top notch service. I had a warm reception right from the get-go with Donna - the receptionist.
No rush here. Sandra Molinara, the Dental Hygienist took her time with me. She explained everything she did - very detail oriented. The dentist office ain't my cup of tea but I felt very comfortable thanks to Sandra.
Professional grade and friendly staff: The value of service by Sandra and Dr. Paman Chahal made my visit worthwhile. They did tremendous work on my 32s, I felt great and will definitely visit again.
And guess what? Tooth Works covered my parking fee every time I have been to their office.
Check them out, experience for your self!

I started using Toothworks when I worked across the street many years ago. I’ve been retired now for 4 years and I still drive from Spruce Grove to see Dr. Sam. He’s the best dentist I’ve ever seen. Gentle, affable and above all, incredibly capable! He has fixed problems for me that others couldn’t, while still being extremely clear on the limitations of such ‘miracle work’. I also honestly like the guy. He always has time to yak about cars and I admire his easy going manner with the staff. They seem to get along well together, which can’t be easy in a super busy shop like theirs. Highly recommended!

Dr. Withanachchi is the most incompetent dentist I have ever come across. He has performed many crowns and root canal on me about 10 years ago. 3 of the teeth he treated with root canals have failed. The probability of a root canal failing is less than 5% as recorded. He managed to achieve that. His motivation appears to have been only his fees, which my insurance footed. He was coercing me to get implants done every time I saw him. Since his fees were high I resisted. Thank god. I have been informed by some of his former patient as to his incompetent work. He should go back to school or quit practicing dentistry.
Response: I left your practice as Sam did one of the crowns he installed three times to get it right and yet he could not. He was not willing to listen to me. I have known Sam his brother and his parents since the 1970's. After 10 years the root canal and a crown he installed is giving me trouble. Tonight I will get the tooth extracted as root canals could be done only once as I am advised. He was and probably is, only concerned about the money. His father Jay has been boasting about Sam's real estate holdings. That's fine. The sad part is that he is incompetent! I sure hope that his brother is a better dentist.
