I'm only taking one star off because there was a mix up with reception and they initially cancelled my appointment instead of a different client's. I was also under the impression I was going in to get a mouth guard but ended up getting an assessment. It was okay because I learned a lot with the assessment and the price was about the same, but I could see another person being upset over this. Dr. Silver and the other medical staff there were excellent though! My appointment was very thorough and I am thankful for the plan we've come up with.
I’ve been going to Dr. Silver for several years now. She was my first female dentist, and I don’t think I would ever go back to having a male dentist after having worked with her. She’s very gentle and makes a point of making sure that her patient is comfortable and not experiencing any pain. When I first came to her, just sitting in the dentist chair made me a nervous wreck. While my dentist was working on me, I would dig my nails into my hands in anticipation of the pain that was sure to follow. I can honestly say I’ve never had that experience with Dr. Silver. For the first time in my whole life, I am not afraid to go to the dentist! I am so comfortable there now that we actually sometimes have to stop working on my teeth because we’re all laughing so much at something that happened. I’m so relaxed and I have her to thank for it. I have recommended her to all my friends and will continue to do so. If you tend to be nervous at the dentist, I would suggest that you give her a try. You will not be disappointed. She is really lovely as is her staff. Never any waiting, and always a follow up phone calls when warranted.
I have moved a lot and therefore have had many dentists, and Dr. Silver is by far my favorite. She is personable and shows care about your comfort from the get go, explains things thoroughly and compassionately, and instills trust that you’re getting the best dental and TMJ treatment possible. It’s clear that the hygienists share the same values. So glad I found Southcentre Dental- do not hesitate to book with them!
I have had root canal done before and this has been the best experience yet. I have fear of needles and I don't know how Dr Jain did it but I literally didn't feel more than the usual pinch. He comes from Edmonton so if you plan to get one done you need to act fast cause in my opinion he is the best in the area.
Excellent service. They have state of the art equipment and very knowledgeable. The staff is also excellent. So much so that I travel from California to have my teeth taken care of by Dr Silver.
