I recently visited Roots on Whyte and was thoroughly impressed by the exceptional care I received. The staff was incredibly professional and kind, making me feel at ease from the moment I walked in. My hygienist was thorough and paid close attention to detail, explaining every step of the process with patience and clarity. It’s clear they genuinely care about their patients’ well-being. I left with a brighter smile and a newfound appreciation for great dental care—highly recommend!
Went in for a wisdom teeth extraction and they were able to take me in a bit early. Everything was clean, professional and friendly. Unfortunately my teeth were difficult ones and the procedure took longer than initially estimated, however Dr Ruby and their team were fantastic in helping through the procedure. Checking in regularly and working diligently for the extra time it took and the post-op information and care. I really appreciate Dr Ruby for all the effort she put in and am exceptionally thankful because I know extra time on me means a delay for others, but I know that other patients would get the same level of care, so if I ever had to wait I wouldn't mind! Post-op I had almost no swelling or pain either! Which is one of the reasons I prefer this dentist over others! I have never had major side effects or issues after a visit!
My appointments are always very pleasant. I so appreciate all the staff. Dr. Yoo always does such a great job. He is thorough, careful, and doesn’t make you feel like he is rushing you through the system. He always takes time to answer any questions or concerns I have. I live 2 hours from the city. So on one occasion, when I needed what would normally have taken 2 appointments, Dr. Yoo and his lab staff stayed after hours to complete my procedure. Dr. Ruby was great and her dental assistant worked well together during my treatment. Thank you for also great bedside manner concerning my anxiety that I get with dental work. Amazing team.
Have been going to Roots for around 13 yrs now for items like dental implants , cavities. mercury amalgam removal crowns & wisdom teeth extraction . Mainly I go to Dr Yoo for his outstanding care and his high quality of workmanship always provided ! What I like best about Dr Yoo = he always makes sure youre comfortable in the chair & works accordingly = very little discomfort ! This is the main reason I drive across the city to go to Roots ! You will always get a great explanation of procedures he will be completing as well . Oh yes , Tammy who takes care of cleaning & hygiene is excellent as well = very little discomfort ever ! Ladies up front are great as well = they handle everything with a smile ! WELL DONE ROOTS DENTAL
