A great experience overall! I hadn't been to a dentist in 18 years because of the horrible traumas I had experienced at their hands in the US, but Pro Grace Dentistry was the complete opposite! They didn't waste any time trying to guilt me for not flossing or suggest needless cosmetic procedures. They did exactly what needed to be done so I could eat comfortably, and they did it on Christmas Eve! I had to depart for the States on Jan 1, and they made sure with the lab that my crown would be ready in time, so I got the final crown in on Dec 31st. Also, since we were paying out of pocket, they gave us a quote for every procedure before doing it, and they made sure we were comfortable with everything the entire time. If you're in any way apprehensive about dentistry, this is the place for you.
I recently visited Pro Grace for regular visit and I had a fantastic experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and made me feel at ease from the moment I walked in. Hygienist explained everything thoroughly and answered all my questions, which really helped me feel comfortable during the procedure. The clinic itself was clean and welcoming, making the whole experience much more pleasant. I highly recommend clinic for anyone looking for quality dental care!
I had a fantastic experience here. Everyone I met from the the front desk through to the Dr were so sweet and accommodating. Big shoutout to Zach at the front desk for all his help. The actually appointment was great, I had to go in with 0 insurance and they were willing to help to solve the root of my issues without the typically push I’ve experienced at other offices to fix everything right now. 10/10 would recommend.
Originally i’m not from Calgary, just here studying for school. I am far from home and needed to see a dentist right away. Pro Grace Dentistry was able to fit me right after school and was able to give me the answer and the help I needed. When I arrived the receptionist was welcoming and extremely friendly, helped me with my question and concerns. During the procedure the dental assistant and dentist went above and beyond. They helped me when I was unable to bite down or hold the X-ray bite block. They also made sure I was comfortable and explained every step of the way, making sure I understood. They made sure I wasn’t in any pain during the whole procedure and if I did feel anything to let the dentist know and he would stop and add more freezing (which was really reassuring because dentists make me super nervous and anxious). This was by far one of the best experiences I have ever had at a dentist and would recommend them to anyone who needs dental work! I will definitely be making trips up to Calgary for my dental needs! Thank you Pro Grace staff, you guys are truly amazing!
I recently returned to Pro Grace after being unable to afford any dental care for the past couple of years. During that time I had a number of teeth/fillings that broke and needed repair. My first appointment was for X-rays and a cleaning. The staff got me in quickly and worked with me to customize services to limit my out of pocket costs. I was booked in quickly for a second appointment to have my fillings/broken teeth fixed. Once again, the staff worked with me to maximize my comfort - I was able to limit freezing as I react strongly to it and was finished quickly. It was during my second appointment that I spoke with Dr. Brar about getting two composite (bonded) veneers on my front teeth. I had heavily damaged my front teeth over the years and one was discolored and both were extremely short. I was extremely self conscious about my front teeth and they served as a constant reminder of the abuse I had put my body through years earlier when I struggled with body dysmorphia and eating disorders. Without any insurance, I could not afford the more costly porcelain veneers, but wanted to find a way to deal with my front teeth. Dr. Brar was compassionate and patient in hearing me out and working on a solution that was financially viable. I returned for my 3rd appointment one week later, and Dr. Brar again gave me his time and attention as he applied and crafted my composite veneers. I cannot explain the impact this has already had on me. I am not afraid to smile with my teeth for the first time in decades. While the veneers are ever so slightly darker than my natural teeth (in part due simply to the differing opacity of composite vs. natural teeth) I am so happy with the results. Dr. Brar did not rush me and made sure I was comfortable and happy with the results, and has made clear that if any issues arise I can return and he will address them. I had looked at changing dentists previously to one closer to my home, but can say that I will be sticking with Pro Grace doing forward as they have been unmatched in their care and flexibility in ensuring I received compassionate and quick dental care. The entire team made me feel supported and understood.
