The staff at the Chinook location are amazing! From reception to Dr. Perry and hygienists like Emily, I've had nothing but great experiences getting my teeth cleaned and worked on. They're super informative, provide a comfortable environment, and truly provide the best care. I highly recommend!!
This was my first time at Poplar Dental. The receptionist was very friendly. She made me feel very welcome from the beginning since, I walked through the door. She also remembered who I was and my name from a previously day, when I dropped off my intake paperwork. Summer was incredible! She is very lovely. Summer was very friendly. She did a really good job with cleaning my teeth, and she put a lot of care and effort into her work. What I really loved about her was, she was very professional and knowledgeable. You could tell she was very passionate when explaining and sharing her knowledge, of the overall oral exam, and the overall oral health of my teeth. She was not just doing her job, she seemed like she genuinely cared. It really did mean a lot to me. If anyone deserves a raise it would be her *cough*. Tell her I tried to put in a good word for her :) The dentist was very friendly and explained things as simply as he could. He also mentioned preventative measures I could take to help minimize teeth casualties. Overall, I had a great first experience at Poplar Dental!
I came to your clinic today and showed the text that I had previously sent to your email at 2:00 PM. It was written in a respectful manner, outlining my rights and request. From the very first minute, your doctor was very hostile towards me, as his assistant had already mentioned my request to explain what kind of fillings would be used before I even entered the room. The doctor was joking about me with his assistant, assuming that I did not understand English at all. From the very beginning, I felt contempt and disrespect through his facial expressions, and he spoke to me in a condescending manner. After refusing to explain the procedure, I asked for the doctor’s full name so that I could formally inquire with the appropriate authorities about whether my rights had been violated and whether such actions were justified. I was denied the name of the doctor who refused to explain the treatment procedure and provide documentation on the cost of the services performed. If the doctor believes he did not break any laws, why is he unwilling to state his name? In response, I was threatened with statements such as, "Our father is a lawyer, and we will make things difficult for you," and they even threatened to call the police. After that, three more people entered the room and began pressuring me morally to leave the clinic, which brought me to tears and made my hands tremble from such treatment. Despite this attitude towards me and the violation of my rights, I still love Canada, and there are many good people here whom I sincerely appreciate. I am grateful to the Canadian government for supporting Ukrainians. There are more good people in the world.
Dr. Perry saw my 8 year old daughter for an emergency root canal. Her and her staff were so kind, thoughtful and patient in soothing her and did a quick and painless job on the tooth. They were very knowledgeable and I felt like my daughter was in great hands. Our daughter says it was a great experience because she liked the big tv!
Emily is fantastic, incredibly thorough, and she broke down my perio report in simple terms. The doctor is very friendly, and the front staff are amazing, clearly explaining every charge. Highly recomnended!
