I don't have a passion for dentists so I'm always nervous right off the bat. However, this first appointment for cleaning and review went extremely well, Adrian cleaned my teeth and was very aware of my nerves- making sure to keep a close eye and still finish the job properly. I left feeling confident the staff really make a point to be friendly and efficient. Even the receptionist makes it her duty to welcome each patient in a very friendly manner. Overall my first appointment was a success.
I chose Dr.K's clinic because it was the close to where I live, but I will be staying even when I move because of how great my experience has been. I have always been self conscious about my teeth but Dr.K put together a dental plan for me and made me feel comfortable every time I sat in that chair. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a kind, supportive and knowledgeable dental clinic. Also, Sifay is extremely helpful, especially when dealing with insurances.
I had a great experience with the Registered Dental Hygienist! Before starting, they took the time to understand my past experiences with dental cleanings and explained in detail how scaling in North America removes plaque from the gums. They also mentioned that my experience might feel different, which helped me mentally prepare. However, the entire process turned out to be painless! I only felt a very slight sourness and a little itchiness. Afterward, I had X-rays taken—several of them—and the dentist conducted a detailed examination, using an intraoral camera to show me the images. They also checked my gums, tested gum recession, and assessed my bite alignment. I don’t recall these aspects ever being mentioned during my dental visits in Hong Kong. The receptionist was also very friendly and helped me handle the insurance process. They even submitted a predetermination request to check the insurance coverage for future treatments. They provided useful advice on how to prioritize treatments based on urgency and cost. This clinic follows the Alberta Dental Fee Guide, so I feel confident that I won’t be overcharged.
I had a routine cleaning in February 2025. Sife, the Office Manager was very accommodating and kind to reschedule my appointment at the last minute, Adrian, my dental hygienist, was very gentle, careful, meticulous, and efficient. I highly recommend that you go to Kingsland Family Dental Care.
I recently had my first cleaning and dental exam at this office, and it was one of the best dental experiences I’ve ever had. Sife, the office manager, was absolutely delightful—warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful in explaining my benefits. Neeti, who did my cleaning, was friendly, professional, and thorough. Dr. Khartchenko was very personable and took the time to explain my treatment options and work with me to develop a personalized plan after the examination. I highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for a new dentist.
