I had a very pleasant experience with Miranda and the staff of Fisher Periodontics. I’m typically very anxious about my dental appointments, however Miranda made me feel comfortable and calm by explaining the procedure step by step. I was a bit embarrassed that my last cleaning had been a year and a half, but Miranda never once made me feel embarrassed or shamed me. Instead she educated me on what I can do in the future to keep my teeth and gums healthy. She took the time and patience to do an amazing job and made the experience a breeze. Typically with my past experiences at other offices getting cleanings, I’ve left in quite some pain and anxiety. However, this was not the case with my cleaning with Miranda. She explained I could have some slight irritation due to the time between my last cleaning and current, however the next day everything felt back to normal. If you’re looking for a dental hygienist who is knowledgeable and cares about their work, I would 110% recommend booking with her and letting her work her magic! I also want to note how clean and open the clinic is. When you walk in, you’re greeted by smiling and friendly faces. Thank you to the lovely ladies at the front who took the time to check me in for my appointment and make me comfortable beforehand. Kudos and highest recommendation to Miranda and all the staff at Fisher Periodontics!
I post this review to bring Dr. Fisher’s attention. My surgery by Dr. Fisher was no problem, but there is big problem with the crown by Riverbend Family Dental Care. Since I have the crown installed, the gum around the implanted tooth has been infected. Especially, when I have meat, it is often stuck between the teeth around the implanted tooth. Right after putting the crown, both Dr. Fisher and the Dr . at RiverbendFamily said the implanted tooth would be with me maybe one or two years it depends on how often I brush my teeth. They were not confident. 15 years ago my another tooth was implanted by Dr. Rossals. He confidental the tooth would be with me for my life. As of today the implanted tooth has been very well, never infected. Unfortunately, Dr. Rosales retired long time ago. I called Dr. Fisher’s office, and I was told that Dr. Fisher would not be responsible for the crown. Dr. Fisher did well, but he did not complete the whole implanting things. This will negatively affect his operation. Thus, I gave Dr. Fisher 3 star.
If you have been putting off your gum grafts because of fear I understand completely! I was that gal but I finally had 3 gum grafts done, and NO pain was felt. Recovery was also NOT painful but just a bit ackward because you can't chew on that side. Dr Fisher is a talented, skillful periodontist and his empathetic, relaxed and honest personality makes him the Dr. you want. I am truly grateful for Dr. Fisher's genius hands. I am returning in few months for gum grafts on the other side and I have zero stress and concerns. This feeling is priceless!
I had my gum graft almost 2 weeks ago. I was amazed at Dr. Fisher's gentleness throughout everything. I couldn't feel any pain just a slight discomfort afterwards. It was way better than I had anticipated. The aftercare is straightforward and easy to follow. When I went in for my consultation he was honest and said it will be painful afterwards. The day of the procedure is the only day I required the pain meds. I don't even have a high pain tolerance. I was really dreading this appointment and l thought it would be way way worse than it actually was. Dr. Fisher and his team are amazing. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing periodontal work. Thank you so much!
Dr. Fisher and his team are so friendly, professional, and provide amazing service. Post bone graft surgery he was willing to answer any questions and concerns at any time and supported my recovery. He was able to reduce any concerns and checked through as my healing progressed. The quality of his work as well as his bedside manner are the best I have experienced! Would recommend to anyone!
